Senior ASP.NET Developer

Your responsibilities:

• Development of technical solutions for digital commerce and websites

• Write code in C# and implement cloud-native applications in the .NET Core platform, taking advantage of Azure services for hosting and scalability

• Develop and integrate backend services that support service platform functionality, including data management, authentication, and API connections

• Identify and resolve bugs, perform troubleshooting to ensure reliability continuously during development and production

Some examples of what we do are developing cloud-based web solutions for Statnett, where we had to ensure that strict security requirements were taken into account with their well over 3000 web pages.

We have delivered e-commerce solution to Fargerike which enabled them to offer complex customer guidance online.

For many years, we have been a technological partner to and developed new websites for the Olav Thon Group and their 90 shopping centres in the Nordic region.

The academic environment, QA framework and quality

We have a well-developed QA framework and a lot of experience in the codebase. This experience means that you don't have to reinvent the wheel, but can extract the knowledge you need and focus on solving the real problems.

We work in agile multidisciplinary development teams responsible for the entire life cycle of what we create. • At least 5 years of experience developing websites and software using Microsoft .NET Framework and other development tools

• Advanced or good knowledge of C# programming​

• Familiar with other related technologies for web development like ASP.NET / MVC Razor

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, Microsoft Azure (eg. DevOps, pipelines)​

• Experience with GitHub and other development best practices (eg. unit testing, continuous integration, code review)​

• Experience with API integrations and optimisation​

• Knowledge of agile methodologies (scrum)

• Some knowledge of JavaScript and frontend development

• We value personal qualities and good communication skills

• Fluent/good oral and written English​
